Desiree Staples (Kiki)

Desiree is an actress and filmmaker. Based in Los Angeles, she’s thrilled to return to her Chicago theatre roots! Some of her favorite Theater credits include URINETOWN (Boho Theater Company – Jeff Award Nominee for Best Musical); ON THE TOWN (Marriott Theater); LUNACY (Jackalope Theater); MILL GIRLS (ETOPiA reading); KAFKA”S THE TRIAL (The Cherry Lane Theater – NY); DREAM TICKET (NYC Fringe); EMIPIRE BURLESQUE (The Broad Stage); 15 MINUTE MUSICALS (LA Fringe); NEVER, THE BRIDESMAID (Oil Lamp Theater) and more. She’s a proud alumni of Northwestern University, Sarah Siddons Scholarship Winner (2014′), and current Co-President of NUEA West. She can be seen in films including “Take Me To Tarzana”, and starring in the female driven comedy feature film “My Divorce Party” (coming soon!), which she also Executive Produced. Her dramedy series pilot, “It’s What She Would Have Wanted,” in which she co-stars and Produced, was a selection in the Tribeca Creators Market 2021. TV Credits include “In The Cut” on Bounce TV.
